Before we kick the bucket, we need to blow up our bucket list and acknowledge that adventure begins with waking up. I have been paid for my writing “know how” all my life. Lucky for me, far away places called me to adventure later in life and introduced me to travel writing.

I thought travel writing meant going to far away, exotic places. It took an amazing trip to Southeast Asia right before the Covid-19 Pandemic to show me that it also means finding treasures in and around our homes and communities.
